Clone site
A clone site is a copy of a real platform's pages served from a different domain, built to collect logins or card details from people who believe they are on the original. The layout, the logos and often the performer thumbnails are lifted wholesale, so the page can look correct in every respect except the address.

Where you see it
You arrive through a search ad, a shortened link, a forwarded message or a mistyped address rather than by opening the domain yourself. Clones depend on how you got there, because that is the part people do not check.
Why it matters
A clone can copy the surface but not the domain. If help, privacy and billing links lead to a different host, or the password reset does nothing, stop before you type anything. Credentials handed to a clone are usually tried on the real site within minutes, which is why a password used nowhere else keeps the damage to one account.
